C. Service and Inspection (S&I) Facility: All costs for the area from Track 5 Sta. 20+85 to Sta. 35+53 to include foundations.

It is the intent of NJ TRANSIT to award one Contract for Items A, B and C. However, due to the availability of funds, NJ TRANSIT may, at its sole discretion, elect to defer, delay or delete the construction of Item C - S&I Facility. NJ TRANSIT may decide to proceed with the award of Contract, while deferring the decision to include the deferred/deleted S&I Facility. The successful Bidder must honor the Bid price for Item C - S&I Facility for up to 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. In the event NJ TRANSIT decides to incorporate the S&I Facility after 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor can either honor the original Bid price for Item C or submit a revised cost proposal as a Change Order.
