Is seeking qualified DBEs, DVBEs, MBEs, WBEs, SBE, CBE, LSBE

Arcadis U.S., Inc. is requesting Community Business Enterprise (CBE) proposals for the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (LA DPW) RFP for Consolidated Correctional Treatment Facility (CCTF) Project Management/Construction Management Services RFP No. AED7740001. Arcadis is seeking participation by highly qualified, LA County CBE certified firms with previous experience providing services on Correctional and Treatment Facilities or similar complex projects. Previous experience working with LA County DPW and a strong understanding of the local design & construction environment, local laws, ordinances, regulations, policies, and permitting is strongly preferred. Arcadis has identified the following categories of services that will be made available to CBE firms:

• Design/Build Procurement Coordination
• Procurement of services other than Design/Build or Design/Bid/Build
• Community/Public Outreach
• Bidder/Supplier/Vendor surveys and outreach
• Owner Occupancy Planning and Move/Transition Management
• Post-Occupancy Maintenance Schedule and Procedures
• Local and State Agency Approval Coordination (including but not limited to City of LA / County of LA Building & Safety, Fire Department, Public Health, Board of State and Community Corrections, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Department of General Services, State Fire Marshal, OSHPD, and Federal Aviation Administration)
• Development and/or Administration of Community Business Enterprise Program, Local Worker Hiring Program or a Labor Compliance Program
• Safety Compliance Monitoring (observe and document contractor’s and Design Builder’s Safety Plan implementation)
• Inspection monitoring services
• Certified Land Surveying Services
• Equipment Procurement, Planning, and / or Installation
• FAA Coordinator (experience with high rise and heli-pad approvals)
• Systems Integration / Low Voltage Specialists (HVAC, Fire Alarm, Security, etc.)
