Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to; Asphalt, Trucking, Concrete, SWPPP, Electrical, Landscape & Irrigation, Striping & Signage. The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the construction and installation of the following: modification to existing pedestrian curb ramps, modifications to curb radiuses, minor civil improvements, installation of foundations, signal poles, posts, pull boxes, wiring, push buttons, and other items of work which are required for installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) at three locations on Grafton Street and Antone Way, Central Parkway and Aspen Street, and Amador Valley Boulevard and Burton Street, and modifications to existing traffic signal at Central Parkway and Hibernia Drive, consisting of installing new traffic signal poles and foundation, traffic signal equipment, pull boxes, traffic signal conduit, conductors and cables, street lighting, installing sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, and reconstruction drainage inlet, as shown on the plans, described in these Special Provisions and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above. Site cleaning, restoration, and removal of debris, equipment, and excess material from the sites upon completion of miscellaneous work, including removal of concrete forms, disposal off-site of all unsuitable materials, and cleanup of the site.

Kerex Engineering, Inc. can assist in the payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owner’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement.
