Project Description: The CCMUA Aeration Tank and Plant Water Upgrades project includes extensive demolition, replacement, and installation work for fire protection, plant water, sewer, gas, and oxygen piping systems throughout the facility. The contract also covers major mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural upgrades within the existing Chlorination Facility, including new equipment, control systems, emergency safety systems, and building restoration work. Additional work involves upgrading all eight aeration tanks with new aerators, blowers, valves, instrumentation, oxygen piping, protective coatings, crack repairs, and access improvements to improve operational reliability and efficiency. The project further includes sitework such as excavation, paving, landscaping, conduit installations, concrete work, and installation of new chemical transfer and dosing systems to support future plant operations.
