The scope of work includes but is not limited to: site clearing, building demo, grading/paving, wet/dry utilities, landscaping, site concrete, site furnishings, building concrete, structural & misc. steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, casework, waterproofing, sheet metal, single-ply roofing, caulking, insulation, fiber cement siding, lath & plaster, drywall/metal stud, paint, tile, flooring, T-Bar, appliances, signage, elevator, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, LV wiring, etc.

Please note that this project is subject to both State Prevailing Wage and Federal Davis-Bacon Act requirements, necessitating contractors to pay the higher of the state or federal wage determinations applicable to their trade(s). Furthermore, the project mandates adherence to contracting and hiring outreach efforts for Small, Minority-Owned, and Women's Businesses (SBE, MBE, WBE). Bidders are expected to demonstrate proactive measures to engage these entities, ensuring accessible purchasing opportunities, timely dissemination of contracting opportunities, and the consideration of subcontracting arrangements to promote participation.

All bidders must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) before bidding on this project. Proof of registration will be required with bid submission. Certified payroll must be reported weekly via an electronic reporting system to be determined. Note that failure to comply with these reporting requirements may result in liquidated damages of up to $500 per week.
