Valentine Corporation is seeking quotes for two separate locations LOWER SLIDE at MP 2.61 AND UPPER SLIDE at MP 3.41 from certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers and truckers including, but not limited to, the following scopes of work.

traffic control, water pollution control, clearing and grubbing, steel soldier piles, cast-in-drilled-hole concrete piling, concrete lagging, storm drain facilities, embankment construction, tieback anchors, structure excavation, permeable material, aggregate base, asphalt concrete, metal beam guardrail, hydroseeding, silt fence, fiber roll, and trucking.

Please quote each location separately.

Bonds may be required, if so, Valentine Corporation can assist. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Cal Trans requirements and will be required to sign the standard Valentine Corporation Subcontract Agreement.
