All items of work are made available including items of work normally performed by Bridgeway. Items included in quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as necessary to assist in identifying opportunities for DBE and DVBE Subcontractors.
The DBE goal is 21%: WORK CONSISTS OF FURNISHING AND INSTALLING A PREFABRICATED STEEL PEDESTRIAN OVERCROSSING STRUCTURE, INCLUDING PRECAST PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDERS, MECHANICALLY STABILIZED EARTH RETAINING WALLS, STRUCTURAL CONCRETE, HMA PAVING, METAL HANDRAILING, SIGNING AND STRIPING, OTHER ITEMS NOT MENTIONED ABOVE THAT ARE REQUIRED BY THE PLANS, STARDARD PLANS, STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OR SPECIAL PROVISIONS MUST BE PERFORMED, CONSTRUCTED, OR INSTALLED.

Requirements: Bridgeway is signatory to the Carpenters, Cement Masons, Laborers and Operating Engineers unions. Subcontractors must be prepared to furnish payment and performance bonds for the full amount of subcontract price. Bonding assistance is available. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Bridgeway’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Bridgeway Subcontract Agreement. Please call the main office for a copy of the insurance requirements and agreement. Please include your Contractors License Number, DIR Number and your DBE, MBE, WBE Firm ID Number on the quote.
