We are requesting bids for the following trades:
• Selective demolition including hazardous materials and abatement.
• Concrete.
• Cement plaster.
• Scaffolding.
The project is generally described as: The repair and reconstruction of the existing perimeter fence concrete pilasters along Harrison Street and Precita Avenue, crack repairs of the existing concrete fence wall in the south play yard, repairs and restoration of exterior decorative concrete moldings around the window openings including the repairs of cracked exterior walls of the building that involves stripping of the existing coatings, concrete wall and cement plaster restoration, application of joint sealants and high-performance coatings, and painting. Some hazardous materials abatement is also involved. The project has two bid allowances: (1) Repair of concrete cracks measuring between 1/32-inch wide to 1/16-inch wide; and (2) Repair and restoration of spalled concrete walls and decorative elements.
Construction schedule: To begin in June 2024
