Ford Construction Company, Inc. is requesting quotes form all qualified DBE subcontractors, service providers, material suppliers, and trucking firms for the items of work including, but not limited to: SWPPP, SURVEY, MOBILIZATION / EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT, WATER TRUCK SERVICE(S), MISC. DEMO / REMOVALS, DRAINAGE CHANNEL LINING, DIVERSION CHANNEL, HYDROSEEDING, EROSION CONTROL, ELECTRICAL, CHAINLINK FENCE, ULTRA BLOCK RETAINING WALLS, CONCRETE PADS, AGGREGATE BASE, DRAINAGE GRAVEL, 4”-8” SDR17 HDPE, 2”-4” SDR11 HDPE, 1”-2” SDR9 HDPE, HDPE GEOMEMBRANE, GEOCOMPOSITE, NONWOVEN GEOTEXTILE, 16 GAUGE WIRE, SUMP PUMP, CONTROLS or any other item of work, service, or material on this project that your firm is qualified to perform or furnish. Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage and facilitate participation.

The DBE participation goal for this project is 15%. Anticipated contract start date: June 3, 2024. Anticipated contract completion date: October 15, 2024.

Plans and specifications for this project are available for viewing at Ford’s office by appointment, and /or the Public Purchase website @ www.publicpurchase.com and / or through Ford’s ShareFile site (contact estimating to receive link to site and bid documents). Please submit quotes via email to: est@ford-construction.com. Please include current DBE certification. Subcontractors must include DIR and contractor’s license number.

Ford is a union contractor, signatory to the Laborers and Operating Engineers unions. Ford will require all subcontractors to have insurance coverage meeting the contract requirements. Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Ford will reimburse subcontractors for the cost of bond premiums.
