Description of Work: Project scope includes but is not limited to Demolition of existing interior wall finishes of kitchen down to studs, Installation of new finishes and equipment and construction of new single occupancy restroom in existing storage space as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours.
This is a Prevailing Wage job.
As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective bidders are required to be prequalified to submit bids to the District.
Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been prequalified. Prequalification applications may be submitted online at: https://www.qualitybidders.com/users/sign_up. Prequalification applications should be submitted in enough time to ensure processing. Processing could take up to 21 days depending on the accuracy of the application. Bidders must have a determination of prequalified status at least five (5) days before bid opening. Contractors will be notified by email of the results of their prequalification application.
Prequalification of Bidders MANDATORY for Projects using funds received pursuant to the Leroy F, Greene School Facilities Act or any funds from any state bond fund that involves a projected expenditure of $1,000,000 or more- delete if not applicable.
If this Project includes work that will be performed by mechanical, electrical or plumbing (“MEP”)
subcontractors (contractors that hold C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or
C-46 licenses), such MEP contractors must also be prequalified. It is the responsibility of the
bidder to ensure that all MEP subcontractors holding any of the licenses listed above are properly
prequalified before submitting a bid. This prequalification requirement applies even if the
subcontractor (of any tier) is designated to perform work that does not require one of the licenses
listed above, but the subcontractor holds one of the licenses listed above
