Project Details

We are soliciting quotes from qualified Suppliers and Subcontractors for the following items: Traffic Control, SWPPP, Temporary Barrier System, Temporary Crash Cushion, Temporary Silt Fence, Geosynthetic Reinforced Embankment, Alternative Geosynthetic Reinforced Rockery, Erosion Control Matting, Hot Mix Asphalt, Class 2 AB, Pavement Delineation


Requirements: Ford is signatory to Operating Engineers Local 3 and Northern California District Council of Laborers unions. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, workers’ compensation, insurance coverage and be registered with the DIR for the entire length of the prime contract. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds from an approved Surety may be required. Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractors’ quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Subcontractors will be required to sign a Ford Standard Subcontractor Agreement. Suppliers will be required to sign a Ford Purchase Order. These forms of agreements are available for review at our office. Plans and specifications are available for viewing at Ford’s office or you may call Ford for further assistance. Subcontractor and Supplier quotes are required 24 hours prior to the bid date to enable complete evaluation. Ford intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
