RTA Construction, Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) for the City of Weed Bypass Water Supply Pipeline Project will be received by City of Weed at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, until 2:00 p.m. local time on December 6, 2023, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists of constructing approximately 13,600 feet of 4- to 12-inch water mains, 5,000 feet of 1- to 2-inch water service installation, 350 feet of 8-inch sewer main, 150 feet of 4-inch sewer laterals, a sewer manhole, 120 linear feet of 24-inch casing by bore and jack, a supervisory valve and vault, a pressure reducing valve and vault, 12 fire hydrants, 50 meter boxes, 150 water meter lids, 36 individual service pressure reducing valves, replace a pressure reducing valve vault, and other water system appurtenances.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: Trenching, Pipe Installation, Hydrant Installation, Pipe Boring, Backfill, Surface Restoration, SWPPP, Traffic Control and Hauling. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one DBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum DBE participation.
