General work description: Project Description: The project, in general, includes seismically retrofitting the existing bridge footings. The bridge work also includes strengthening the existing pier caps abutment walls,
replacing the existing bridge bearings and replacing the concrete bridge deck.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Reset, Relocate, Adjust, Modify Roadway Items; Remove Bridge Item Clearing & Grubbing; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control; Concrete Pumping Drilled Hole; Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling; Concrete Surface Finish; Concrete Overlay â€" Drill & Bond; Core Concrete â€" Repair Bridge Deck; Joint Seal â€" Water Stop; Reinforcing Steel; Steel Structures Clean & Paint Steel; Misc Bridge Metal; Saw Cutting; Fencing; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Environmental â€" Water Quality; Lead Compliance; Swppp Planning; Biological Resources Studies; Transfer Dump Truck Super 10 Dump Truck; fiber optic cable system; seismic isolation bearing; steel casing; jacking superstructure; remove asphalt concrete surfacing; remove concrete deck surfacing; polyester concrete overlay; temporary shoring

Requirements:
No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding â€" please see the following site for information: http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
