Project Details

Rehabilitation of 15 Primary (Preliminary) Settling Tanks (Tanks) at Bowery Bay Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF).

a. Structural Work: Structural rehabilitation of the Primary Tanks, application of non-corrosive epoxy coating system, reconstruction of effluent weirs, pump, pipe and other equipment support, conduit support structure, other penetration details.
b. Civil Work: Routing of the decant line into the flow division structure.
c. Architectural Work: Replacement of the handrails, toe boards, davit mounts, reconstruction of light poles.
d. Mechanical Work: Rehabilitation of mechanical system in the Primary Tanks including sludge and scum collection. Replacement of complete system including drives, equipment, sludge pumps, piping. Replacement of flushing water pump, dewatering pumps and associated piping. Replacement of scum cranes.
e. Electrical and Instrumentation Work: Replacement of electrical conduits and cables for the new equipment installed under this Contract. Replacement of light poles at various locations. Provision of instrumentation for the operation of new equipment installed under the Contract.
f. Other Work: Hazardous investigation and mitigation.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric Construction Co. /Jett Industries
Please provide current bond rate with Quote/Proposal or advise if you are unable to bond so that we my address this issue.
