RTA Construction, Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for the Shasta County Department of Public Works County Service Area No. 17 �" Cottonwood Collection System Improvement Project. Bids will be received by Shasta County Department of Public Works at the Clerk of the Board’s Office, 1450 Court Street, Suite 308B, Redding, CA 96001 until 11:00 a.m. local time on October 26, 2023, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists of constructing electrical and mechanical improvements at four wastewater lift stations, replacement of up to approximately 5,600 LF of 8-inch to 20-inch collection pipelines, bore and jack 30-inch casing under Union Pacific Railroad, manhole rehabilitation, and pipeline spot repairs. Engineer’s Construction Cost Estimate is $6,500,00 to $7,500,00.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all DBEs for all aspects of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: 1) Main Lift Station Improvements, 2) Black Lane Lift Station Improvements, 3) Quail Lane Lift Station Improvements 4) Crowley Creek Lift Station Improvements 5) Williams Lane Pipeline Improvements, 6) Main Lift Station Pipeline Improvements 7) Manhole Rehabilitation Improvements 8) Spot Repair Improvements 9) Park Drive Pipeline Improvements, 10) Second and Hickory Streets Pipeline, 11) ACID Canal Pipeline Improvements 12) Sheeting, Shoring and Bracing 13) Materials On-Hand 14) Trench Stabilization. Interested DBE’s are invited to provide proposals on all aspects of work involved in the aforementioned bid items such as electrical, traffic control, paving, traffic striping, trucking, aggregate materials, jack and bore, spot repairs, video pipelines, spot repairs etc.
