Project Details

Myers & Sons Construction, LLC is seeking Subcontractors and Suppliers to bid on an upcoming project with the City of Los Angeles, Glendale - Hyperion Complex of Bridges - Phase 2, Bid #E700067F, Bidding on 10/18/2023 at 10:00 am PST with a 23% DBE goal. The proposed project is in Los Angeles, CA. The scope of the Project is to seismically retrofit and rehabilitate the existing Viaduct Complex along the historical corridor of Hyperion Avenue and Glendale Boulevard. Work includes widening of bridges, streamlining of the approach roadway and upgrading of various elements to meet current infrastructure standards including the addition of a bike lane. While implementing the major overhaul, this Project aims at preservation of all historical elements: replication of historical railing, preservation of historical pylons, and refurbishment of existing light poles. Work also includes re-alignment of the I-5 northbound off ramp, adding a bicycle and pedestrian access ramp with an adjacent mini green space, and creation of an infiltration basin to protect the water quality of the Los Angeles River. Below is a list of items available to bid but all items, including items we self-perform are available to bid on: Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Roadside Signs, Underground, Drainage, AC Paving, Minor Concrete , Rebar, Barrier Rail, Erosion Control, Landscaping, Striping & Markers, Fencing, Railing, SWPPP, MBGR, Trucking


Requirements: 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor's license, DIR registration number, and current insurance meeting Myers & Sons Construction's requirements. Subcontractors will be required to sign the standard Myers & Sons Construction, LLC Subcontract Agreement. Quotations must be valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days after the specified Contract Award Date by the Owner.
