Westcon Construction Corp is seeking subcontractor bids, trucking quotes and material supplier quotes from Certified DBE's for this bridge replacement project. The project has an engineers estimate of $3,000,000 with a duration of 95 working days. The DBE goal is 21%. Westcon is seeking sub bids for all aspects of work on this project and we are willing to break out portions of the various listed items to ensure DBE participation:
Clear & Grub, Tree Removal; Bridge Demolition; Site Demolition; Structure Excavation & Backfill; Grading; Creek Diversion: SWPPP Plan; Erosion Control; Hydroseed; ESA Fence; Aggregate Base; Hot Mix Asphalt, Structural Concrete bridge abutments, retaining walls, and bridge deck; Concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk; Joint Seal; Reinforcing Steel; Misc. Metal: Tubular Handrail; Cable Railing; Concrete Barrier; Guardrail; Sewer; Storm Drain; Water Pipe; Cold Planing; Chain link & wood fence; Striping, marking & signage; rock slope protection; trucking; aggregate supply, pipe supply.

Westcon will accept Union & Open Shop quotes. Bonding requirements may be waived to encourage DBE participation. We are available to assist DBE contractors in quantity take-off and plan interpretation and will consider bids for economically feasible portions of the various bid items to facilitate DBE Participation.
Note That Buy America Requirements apply to steel and iron, manufactured products, and construction materials permanently incorporated into the project.
