This project is NON-OCIP. Please review all insurance documents and ensure proper costs are included in your proposal.

The Work of this Contract includes the rehabilitation of five Circuit Breaker Houses (CBH). In the Borough of Brooklyn: CBH #87, Avenue U: Brighton Line (B/Q) South of the Avenue U station at grade level of the open cut tracks adjacent to track A-1 and CBH #218, Livonia Yard: Inside Livonia Yard past New Lots Avenue station. In the Borough of Manhattan: CBH #388, 111th Street: Broadway 7th Avenue Line below the sidewalk on 111th Street next to 110th Street station. In the Borough of Queens: CBH #93, 120th Street: Jamaica Line (J/Z) and CBH #559, Jamaica Yard #3: Jamaica Yard Portal. The scope of the Work calls for 4000A-800Volt Circuit Breakers and is summarized as follows: Furnish and install new Circuit Brakers at CBH #87 and CBH #218. Replace existing Circuit Breakers with refurbished Circuit Breakers at CBH #93, CBH #388, and CBH #559. Remove existing Power Cables from the CBHs and associated tracks (third-rail connections). Install new uninterrupted power supply and batteries. Install new cabling for Traction Power, SCADA, Electrical, and Communications systems using existing ducts for all CBHs, except CBH #87 which will have cabling installed in new reinforced concrete ducts. Repair of roofing and enclosures, including water proofing, concrete, and steel repair and other required repairs. Construction of a new building in Livonia Yard to accommodate equipment for CBH #218 and a new building south of Avenue U Station to accommodate equipment for CBH #87.

Project solicitation needs include, but are not limited to the following scope:
CPM Scheduling, survey, progress photo & video, concrete supply, rebar supply, rebar installation, miscellaneous metal supply & installation, Furnish & Install Masonry, Furnish & Install Precast Architectural Concrete Panels Structural Steel supply & installation, Painting & Lead abatement, Tiles, Furnish & Install Security Fencing, Furnish & Install Roofing, Furnish Signage, Furnish Doors, Furnish & Install Tracks, Mechanical & Plumbing.
