Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not limited to: Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control Systems/Traffic Flaggers; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Roadside Sign; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk â€" Misc.; Sawcutting; Fencing; Survey or Historical Monument; Land Surveyor; SWPPP Planning; Demolition; and Underground Utilities; or any item of work or material you are qualified to perform or furnish.


Plans and specifications may be viewed in our office, at your local Builders Exchange, or CITY OF MERCED’S OFFICE OF THE ENGINEER, 678 W 18TH STREET, MERCED, CA 95340, (209) 385-6846 FOR A COST OF $60.00.  GEORGE REED, INC. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. GEORGE REED, INC. will pay bond premium up to 2%. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with: bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate participation.
