We are seeking qualified DBE firms to bid on the subject project primarily consisting of bituminous milling, hot-mix asphalt paving and reconstruction of airfield electrical works for both Runways 1-19 and 15-33. The project also requires temporary fencing and gates, a temporary jet blast deflector, grading and drainage works at contractor yard, HMA crack sealing, temporary and permanent airfield pavement markings, and erosion control measures. The project is anticipated to start in March of 2023 and finish in November 2024. The project has a DBE goal of 18%.

We require all subcontractors to provide insurance coverages in accordance with the project requirements and enroll in MWAA's Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). For subcontractors of any tier performing labor or services at the job site, participation/enrollment is mandatory. All subcontractors will be required to provide a payment and performance bond for 100% of the value of the subcontract. The project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Wage Act for all laborers and mechanics (Davis Bacon Minimum Wage Determination, VA20220103, dated February 25, 2022).
