Jett Industries, Inc. is actively soliciting quotations for WI-308R Wards Island WWTP City Water Line Reconstruction Manhattan, NY. This contract has a goal of 15% participation from MBE and WBE Businesses. This project is bound by a PLA. The project bids on September 27,2022.

The Scope of work under this contract is to provide the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to reconstruct the city water line at the Wards Island Wastewater Treatment Plant WWTP . The work includes, but is not limited to:
Obtaining the services of a leak detection company to trace the existing city water line and identify all utilities with the areas to be excavated:
1. Installation of new ductile iron pipe to parallel to the existing city water line:
2.Installation of the ghree new isolation curb valves, including all associated accessories.
3. Connection of the newly installed ductile iron pipe to the existing city water main source: and
4. Disinfection and pressure testing of the pipe.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric/Jett /Construction Co.
Please provide current bond rate with Quote/Proposal or advise if you are unable to bond so that we my address this issue.
