Project Details

Work Included in the Contract.
1.Contract DEL-397 is being issued for the installation and modification of Riser Valve Control Systems at Delaware Aqueduct Chambers.

2.The major elements of Work for Shafts 4, 5A, 6, 11, 13, 20, 22 and 23 include:

a.Replace the existing stainless steel three-way valves, stop valves, throttle valves, electric and manual pumps, and all inter connecting pipes, tubing, fittings, valves, and gauges in Shaft 4 with equipment made of Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion(M.I.C.) resistant bronze alloys.

b.At the remaining shafts, remove existing equipment as needed for installation of new electric pumps, control panel, tripping mechanism cabinet, throttle valve mechanism, and float box.

c.Install new Riser Valve Controls in the appropriate shafts, made from MIC resistant bronze alloys where applicable.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Jett Industries.
Please provide current bond rate with Quote/Proposal or advise if you are unable to bond so that we my address this issue.
