Notice is hereby given that the City of Jackson is requesting proposals (RFP) for Project Management, Preliminary Engineering, Environmental, Right of Way, and Construction Management services for the following projects:

French Bar Bridge Replacement Project (HBP)
Pitt St. Bridge Replacement Project (HBP)
South Ave. Bridge Replacement Project (HBP)
State Route 49 Lighting Project (HSIP)

The projects are funded with State, and Federal dollars administrated by Caltrans and FHWA requiring the Consultant to follow all pertinent local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. The DBE goal for this project is 32%. The City intends to enter an agreement (or agreements) with qualified consulting firm(s) for the requested services.

Total combined amount payable to the Consultant shall not exceed $3,000,000 and with a performance period of the contract from the date approved by the City Council to the completion of the projects or 15 years whichever is the lesser.

The proposals submitted in response to each RFP will be used as a basis for selecting the Consultant for each project. The Consultant's proposal will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in Appendix B, "Evaluation Criteria." The Consultant's attention is directed to Appendix A, "Proposal Requirements" of the RFP.

Addenda to RFP, if issued, will be sent to all prospective Consultants the City of Jackson has specifically e-mailed a copy of the RFP to and will be posted on the City of Jackson website at: ci.jackson.ca.us. It shall be the Consultant's responsibility to check the City of Jackson's website to obtain any addenda that may be issued.

Contact the City Manager via email ykimball@ci.jackson.ca.us for a full copy of the RFP package(s). Questions must be submitted via email to the City Manager by 4 pm on July 25, 2022.

Submit five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format on a USB flash-drive of the Consultant's proposal. Consultant can respond to any or all the following projects. The hard copies and E-copy flash drive shall be mailed or submitted to the City of Jackson, 33 Broadway, Jackson, Ca. 95642 prior to 4:00 P.M., August 1, 2022. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed package clearly marked with any or all the above projects, and addressed as follows:

Proposals received after the time and date specified above will be considered nonresponsive and will be returned to the Consultant. Selected firms may be contacted for interviews with a consultant selection committee. All applicants will be notified of the results.
