Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Bridge Item; Highway Planting; Soil Amendments; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Irrigation System; Temp Erosion Control; Landscape Maintenance; Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat); AC Dike And Misc Paving; Cast-In-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling; Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place; Concrete Overlay, Drill; Furnish Precast Concrete Deck Unit; Erect Precast Concrete; Joint Seal - Water Stop; Reinforcing Steel; Waterproofing; Roadside Sign; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Metal Railing; Concrete Barrier; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Signal & Lighting; Signals (Installation Of Signals); Pavement Profiling; Constultant, Environmental; Materials Testing Service; Enviro - Biological Studies; Lead Compliance; SWPPP Planning; Super 10 Dump Truck; Hazardous Waste Trucking; Trucker Broker; Trucker.

The DBE Contract goal is 25 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-P012(128)E. The estimated cost of the project is $8,800,000.00.

Requirements:
No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding - please see the following site for information: http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
