OVERALL PROJECT SCOPE: Consists of the installation of approximately 4,600-feet of DIP force main, plug valve assemblies, air/vacuum release valve assemblies, precast concrete manholes, bored and jacked or microtunneled steel casing pipe trenchless crossings, miscellaneous valves, fittings, piping, and connections to existing piping. PROJECT TIME: shall be Substantially Complete within 330 consecutive calendar days and final General Conditions within 360 days

CONSTRUCTION TRADES SERVICES AND MATERIALS
TEMPORARY FACILITIES: Office Trailers, Sanitary Services, temporary Fence & gates
GENERAL Survying controls and as-builts, traffic-controls,
ROW-SITE-PREP: clearing, and grubbing, erosion-& sedimentation control, entrance & access roads,
STONE, SOILS & HAULING- dump trucking, stone aggregates, riprap, Misc. waste & disposal
PIPELINE, pipe valves & fittings (Plug Valves, Gate valves, Air/Vacuum release valves, couplings, etc.), Pipe Tapping, & Line-stop, Trenchless Bore (Old Oxford Rd, Hamlin Road and Southern Railroad) Manhole precast Structures
ROW-SITE RESTORATION: Pavement replacement, Grass-seeding-&-planting,
surface restoration, and all associated appurtenances

CONTRACT COMPLIANCE All contracts and purchase orders will comply with and flow-down project documents requirements, contract clauses, not limited to: qualification; State & Federal laws and regulations Insurance Coverage, Employment Practices, wage obligation, taxes, Civil Rights Acts, Equal Employment, Business Utilization MBE/WBE/DBE firms are encouraged to participate & will be listed at time of bid, Work & materials may be combined or divided to facilitate maximum participation. Subcontractors are obliged to sublet to 2nd & 3rd tier DBE subcontractors.
