The project consists of replacing the existing 2-lane steel truss swing bridge with a 4-lane removable span bridge. Proposals are requested by Noon, Tuesday, September 20, 2016. If you are interested in providing a proposal, please reply to this invitation with a brief e-mail acknowledgement to restaite@aol.com. R.E. Staite Engineering, Inc. is requesting subquotes from all qualified DBE subcontractors, for the following items: • Electrical • Fencing • Signage • Rebar • Clearing & Grubbing/Demolition • Hydroseeding • Erosion Control • Structural Steel (Build Bridge Sections for Assembly) • Ground Improvements/Soil Stabilization • Fencing • Striping • Temporary Railing (K Rail) • If there is an item not listed that a DBE is interested in performing, please contact us to discuss.

RES is signatory to the Operating Engineers and the Divers, Carpenters, Bridge, Wharf and Dock Builders and is an equal opportunity employer. This is a Public Works Project. Prevailing Wage is required (CA Prevailing Wage or Davis Bacon – whichever is higher). Certified payroll is required. Liquidated damages are $8,300/day. Insurance must match the Specifications and bonds may be required. RES will also require Worker's compensation and employer's liability with a USL&H endorsement. The required Workers’ Compensation policy shall be endorsed with a Waiver of Subrogation clause for the Work under this contract. Referrals for assistance with bonding and insurance or assistance with obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services can be arranged for DBE’s upon request.
