Supplier- Friction Collars, Pile Jackets, Debris Booms (Turbidity Curtains), Waterworks Supply, Aggregates, Concrete, Bio Filtration System, EPS Foam, Slot Drain System, Misc. Metals , Geotextile, Precast Vaults, Bollard (100-ton T-head bollard), Treated Timber, Temp Fence, Fender System Components.

Project Scope:

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to rehabilitate the existing concrete marginal wharf at National City Marine Terminal (NCMT) Berths 24-3 and 24-4 as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein. The Work includes demolition and removal of portions of the existing concrete deck, pile caps, and appurtenances, construction of a new reinforced concrete deck, repair of existing piles, installation of pile jackets, and replacement of waterfront elements, including bull rails, wale systems, fenders, and mooring hardware such as bollards. The Work also includes installation and replacement of utilities and site improvements, including potable water, stormwater, drainage, pavement replacement, and utility potholing. Additional work includes excavation, backfill, dewatering, demolition, hauling, disposal, and temporary work necessary to complete the Project. The Contractor shall coordinate all work to maintain terminal operations and minimize impacts to tenants and vessel activity. All Work shall comply with applicable environmental requirements, including in-water work restrictions, turbidity control, monitoring, and seasonal limitations. This Project is partially funded by a federal grant administered by the Maritime Administration (MARAD) and is subject to applicable federal requirements, including Buy America/Build America (BABA) provisions.

Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related technical assistance. We will make every effort to establish delivery schedules where the requirement permits.

Insurance, including USL&H Insurance, and bonds are required.

Project Labor Agreement, including Letter of Assent, for covered trades applies and is required.

Prevailing wages are required.

California Air Resource Board (CARB) Advanced Clean Fleet (ACF) and DOORS compliance certifications or statements of exemption required.
