All bids must be valid for 120 days from the bid due date. FD intends to work cooperatively with all firms for scopes of work for which they are properly licensed and qualified to perform. Please contact us if you require technical assistance.

The project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).

All subcontractors must possess and maintain a current and valid contractor's license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 1725.5. Subcontractors, suppliers, and service contractors will be required to execute FD's applicable contract terms and conditions and comply with FD's insurance requirements. Electronic copies of these documents are available upon request.

Bond Requirements: Notwithstanding any contrary language contained in a bid submitted to FD, or any prior course of dealing between FD and the bidder, FD reserves the right, unless expressly waived in writing, to require each bidder to furnish payment and performance bonds guaranteeing the bidder's obligations to FD in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bidder's contract value. FD will reimburse the actual bond premium cost, not to exceed three percent (3%) of the contract value. All bonds must be issued by a surety admitted and authorized to transact business in the State of California.
