We are seeking quotes from qualified subcontractors and suppliers for the Baker Street Village RAD Improvements project in Bakersfield, CA. Targeted work categories include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, concrete, paving, landscaping, site work, trucking/hauling, and general building repairs. The project consists of rehabilitation and improvements to existing residential units under HUD's RAD program. Participation goals include Section 3 businesses, minority‑owned, and women‑owned firms in accordance with HUD's Section 3 and MBE/WBE outreach requirements.
Plans and specifications for the Baker Street Village RAD Improvements project can be obtained directly from the Housing Authority of the County of Kern or through the bid portal where the IFB was issued at https://kernha.org/bid-opportunities/. Subcontractors must carry standard commercial liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage consistent with California public works requirements.
