Project Details

We are seeking quotes from DVBE subcontractors and suppliers for demolition, trucking and hauling, recycling and disposal, excavation, utility abandonment, saw cutting, concrete and asphalt removal, tree and landscape removal, erosion control, dust control, SWPPP/BMP implementation, traffic control, fencing, equipment rental, aggregate and backfill materials, surveying, and related demolition support services. The project consists of demolition of an existing commercial building and parking lot, removal of existing utilities, concrete foundations, AC pavement, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, equipment slabs, light poles, signage, trees, landscaping, and associated site improvements located at 4321-4333 N. Blackstone Avenue, Fresno, CA. DVBE participation is encouraged.


CENCAL Services, Inc. is a signatory union contractor with the Carpenters, Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons. Subcontractors will be required to comply with applicable prevailing wage requirements, insurance requirements, and bonding requirements per the project specifications. This is a federally funded HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, DIR registration requirements, and public works labor compliance requirements. Plans, specifications, and addenda for Bid File No. 12601755 - Senior Housing Demolition are available through the City of Fresno Purchasing Division and PlanetBids. Contractors must possess the appropriate California contractor's license for their scope of work.
