DBE-certified contractors are being solicited to provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control, and all necessary incidentals for ADA improvement work consisting of the construction and/or replacement of ADA-compliant sidewalks, curb ramps, and PCC driveway approaches. Scope of work generally includes demolition and removal of existing concrete, asphalt, signage, vegetation, trees, and miscellaneous obstructions; excavation; grading; moisture conditioning; compaction; subgrade preparation; formwork; reinforcement; concrete placement and finishing; installation of detectable warning surfaces; asphalt restoration; utility adjustments; striping and signage modifications; and disposal of excess materials.
