TDOT seeks to expand highway capacity and improve access along the I-24 corridor in the Nashville region, including approx. 25.5 centerline miles of new managed lanes (two lanes in each direction, with shoulders) from east of Baker Road on I-24 (in the vicinity of I-24 mile marker 73.2) to the vicinity of Fairfield Avenue on I-24/40 and SR 155 (Briley Parkway) on I-40.
Scopes of work include but are not limited to bridge work, asphalt paving, earthwork, embankments, rock cuts, retaining walls, rock wall stabilization and noise barriers, utilities, drainage, overhead and ground mounted sign structures, lighting and ITS equipment structures and overhead gantries, signage, pavement markings, traffic signals and other scopes typically associated with this type of work.
