The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County operates an Equal Business Opportunity Program in order to promote and encourage full participation of all eligible firms in metropolitan government procurement. The program is run through the Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance (BAO). The program verifies the certifications of MWBEs and maintains a directory. The program is effective on July 19, 2019.
