Project Details

This lease-leaseback project has been awarded Alten Construction and is a Guaranteed Maximum Price Project!
Scope Includes:
• Refreshing Classrooms in the 10's, 20's, 30's and 40's Wings on the existing campus including ext. window & door replacement, replace ext. lighting, ext. & int. painting, replacement of flooring and base, minor modifications to electrical system to support a more evenly distributed receptable configuration in each classroom.
• Student Restrooms in the 20's and 40's Wings will receive wall tile, epoxy flooring, base and int. paint, toilet partition & accessories replacement, and select plumbing fixture replacement.
• Single occupancy staff restrooms in the 30's Wing will be receive new paint, wall tile, flooring, and fixtures.
• Covered walkway that links the N-S Corridor on the W. side of campus and the covered walkway that links the 20's Wing to the music building to the E. will receive new roofing.
• Addition of exterior light fixtures to the underside of the roof deck in addition to new paint along the underside of the (E) structure & at the (E) columns.
• Corridor to the W. plans to infill (E) skylights and add tubular skylights.
• (E) & abandoned-in-place gas piping on the roof(s) of the 10's, 20's, and 40's Wings in addition to the Covered Walkways that connects them will be removed.
• Site improvements with accessible landings and compliant thresholds

Please break out the following Alternates on your Bid:
1) Replace all direct applied ceiling tile in 10/20/30/40 Wings with "ACP2' as indicated on A-8.3.
2) Refinish (E) casework in 10/20/30 Wings. Include face refinishing; replacement of countertop and casework hardware.
3) Replace all suspended acoustical ceiling systems throughout 10/20/30/40 Wings, not limited to base bid which includes acoustical tile replacement only.

No PLA. / Prevailing Wage & Weekly Certified Payroll Reports on LCP Tracker ARE required.

2-Year General Warranty (refer to your spec section for other potential warranties)
5% Retention / RFI Deadline is 4/1/26 / MEP+FS Subs MUST be Prequalified with District to bid

$4,000 per Calendar Day - Liquidated Damages
Non-Mandatory, but Highly Recommended Site Walk 3/25/26 @ 2:30 PM

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
New as of 1/1/24: SUBMIT CURRENT CARB CERTIFICATIONS WITH YOUR BID! New California Air Resource Board or C.A.R.B. requirements apply to all subcontractors with equipment on-site. Current certificates of compliance from the Air Resource Board's D.O.O.R.S. website and compliant equipment on-site will be required / monitored at all times by Alten staff.

It is now State of CA law to include CSLB license # & DIR # on bid sub list - make sure to put them on your bid scope's 1st page!

Alten Construction may or may not implement a CCIP (Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) on this Project, however - you are required to include the cost for all required insurance in your bid.
