We are seeking quotes from all subcontractors including certified DVBE, DBE, SB, and MB companies for the below scope of work:
Demo, Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel & Metals, Rough & Finish Carpentry, Insulation, Roofing, Waterproofing, Sheet Metal, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Louvers, Plaster, Drywall, Tile, Flooring, Painting, Signage, Elevators, Fire Sprinkler, Plumber, Mechanical, Electrical, Grading, Paving, Underground Utilities, Fences & Gates.

Project Description:
The Authority is issuing this IFB to seek competitive bids for the construction phase
of a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project. Bids will be considered only if submitted for the
entire project, which includes accessibility improvements, hazardous materials
abatement/removal, and the seismic retrofit of the historic Fresno Southern Pacific
Railroad Depot (historic SPRR Depot); utility upgrades, relocations and connections
to service the historic SPRR Depot and future Fresno station structure; build-out of
plazas servicing the two future Fresno station entrances located in downtown and
Chinatown; transit and vehicle electric charging in a resilient mobility hub; solar
power generation capacity; bicycle and scooter parking; restored tree canopy and
new shade structures; improved stormwater management; park and plaza space for
public activities; lease space opportunities; and improved fencing and perimeter
security. The Fresno Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, which includes the Passenger
Depot, Freight Depot, and Pullman Shed buildings that collectively are a National
Register of Historic Places (NRHP)-listed historic property, although the Pullman
Shed is not part of the Work. Full details on the Work are set forth in the Plans and

Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract. No modifications to the contract are permitted. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project must be able to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company.

ZCI is signatory to the Carpenters, Drywallers, & Laborers Unions. Subcontractors will be required to execute Zovich Construction's standard subcontract agreement and comply with our general insurance requirements. All subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) & properly licensed to perform work in the State of CA.
