Stalco is submitting a bid to the City of Long Beach DPW for the Long Beach Police Dept. - New Premanufactured Exterior Storage Facility project and are seeking qualified NYS certified MBE & WBE subcontractors to provide quotes.

This is a Prevailing Wage project with an Apprenticeship requirement.

Provide and install a premanufactured five-sided enclosure that will house vehicles for the Long Beach Police Department team. The project will require concrete foundations with associated rebar to support the overall facilities weight and levelness, assume 12" wide by 36" deep foundation; interior LED lighting systems for illumination, to be switched manually at three locations and tied into an overall exterior photocell for automatic operation at dusk, provide exterior flood lighting at door entryway; thermostatically controlled Electric Unit Heaters (EUH) to maintain 50 degrees indoors during the coldest months with an ambient temperature of 11 degrees F, allow for (4) 9KW heaters within the facility; direct drive thermostatically controlled ventilation exhaust fan system with associated wall louvers to provide 3 air changes per hour (2100 CFM); full electrical power, to be derived from City Hall electrical switchgear room. Asphalt trenching/patching from the exterior wall of City Hall to the incoming electrical distribution panel (provided by the electrical contractor) is required. Allow for minimum 250 linear feet of exterior service work. Terminate within new structure with electrical sub panel for all distribution. Provide two (2) 1-1/2" empty conduits with drag lines for fire alarm/security work to be completed by COLB.
