1) Prevailing Wages

The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall pay all workers employed on Work under this Contract not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages, including the prevailing rates for holiday and overtime work, as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for the classification of work and locality within the District, pursuant to Labor Code §§1770 et seq. Prevailing wage rates are available from the District or online at http://www.dir.ca.gov


2) DIR Monitoring & Compliance

This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR pursuant to Labor Code §1771.4, and the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Labor Code Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, Articles 1-5.
