WALSH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY II, LLC IS REQUESTING BIDS FROM ALL MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH USEPA SRF AND WIFIA FUNDING
Walsh is the Design Builder for the Pure Water Project Las Virgenes - Triunfo. The project is currently at 60% design and Walsh is developing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal for the Las Virgenes - Triunfo Joint Powers Authority (JPA). The project consists of the construction of a new 6MGD Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) on a greenfield site. The advanced water treatment process includes MF, RO, and UV-AOP, followed by chlorine contactors and CO2 post-treatment.

Walsh is seeking bids from firms for the following services and/or materials: REBAR, CONCRETE FORMWORK, GROUTING, MASONRY, STEEL FRAMING, JOINT SEALANTS, GYPSUM BOARD, ACOUSTICAL CEILING, MISC. METALS, FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PRODUCTS, INSULATION, ROOFING, FLASHING AND SHEET METAL, WINDOWS, STOREFRONT METALS AND GLAZING, OVERHEAD ROLL-UP AND SWING DOORS, HOLLOW METAL SWING DOORS, FINISH HARDWARE, SECURITY SYSTEMS, PAINTING AND COATINGS, SIGNAGE, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, HVAC, ELECTRICAL, I&C, TEMPORARY SHORING, ASPHALT PAVING, CONCRETE FLATWORK, CHAIN LINK FENCING AND GATES, CABLE RAIL, SOIL NAIL RETAINING WALL, IRRIGATION, LANDSCAPING, PRECAST MANHOLES AND CATCH BASINS, PROCESS PIPE, DEMOLITION, MASS GRADING AND EXCAVATION, TRUCKING, STRUCTURAL STEEL, DECKING, DAMPPROOFING, INSULATION, CERAMIC TILING, CATHODIC PROTECTION, FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM, FIRESTOPPING, LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, LABORATORY CASEWORK AND COUNTERTOPS, PLUMBING, CONCRETE CRACK REPAIR, PROCESS PUMPS, CROSS-LINKED POLYETHYLENE CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS, BOLTED STEEL TANK, WELDED STEEL TANK, SURGE TANKS, CHEMICAL FEED SYSTEMS, VALVES, PIPE SUPPORTS

Payment and performance bonds may be required. Contact Walsh for any assistance needed for this solicitation including bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, and/or supplies. Quotes must be valid for 120 days. Conditions or exceptions in subcontractor's quotes are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Subcontractor bid scope including any conditions or exceptions is required 7 days prior to bid deadline to allow proper evaluation. Subcontractor understands the submitted quote is a GMP, not subject to change through completion of design, unless there is a significant change in scope. For information on availability of the 60% design plans and specifications and the Bidder's policy concerning bonds, and/or insurance, please contact our office at 858-715-7200. To assist DBEs, we will divide the total requirements into smaller tasks or quantities and establish a delivery and construction schedule which will permit maximum participation when feasible. EPA SRF and WIFIA forms are required prior to bid day.
