Project Details

Allen Gill Construction Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) for the Etna Water System Improvements Project. Sealed bids for construction of the Etna Water System Improvements Project will be received until 1:00 p.m. local time on August 13, 2025 at the City of Etna City Hall, 442 Main Street, Etna, CA 96027. The proposed project consists of improvements to an existing surface water treatment plant including the addition of (2) - 400 gpm adsorption clarifier (AC) filter units, new 40' x 50' steel moment framed filter building, new emergency generator, new filter backwash
pumping system, site grading, conversion of Reservoir No. 1 to backwash ponds, new electrical and controls systems, and civil/mechanical improvements.


We are requesting quotes for SWPPP, steel building, framing, roofing, painting, concrete, electrical, plumbing, and fencing.
This is a public works project, and the Contractor shall be required comply fully with all Laws and Regulations of the State of California regarding Labor Standards and the payment of prevailing wages on Public Works. We work with interested DBE's to divide total requirements into smaller tasks to permit maximum participation. Project plans and specifications can be viewed at the all plan rooms, and in OWNER's office, City of Etna City Hall, 442 Main Street, Etna, CA 96027 or at ENGINEER's office, E & S Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. 329 West Miner Street Yreka, CA 96097.
