Project Details

Environmental Cleaning:
Remove 9 inches of sludge from the Aeration Basins, approximately 37,000 cubic feet, and move it to the drying beds on site.
Power wash the Basins for concrete repair.
Paving:
28,000 square feet of paving. Demo existing paving. Install new asphalt paving.
Fabricate miscellaneous pipe supports.
Fabricate 6,630' of aluminum handrail.
Provide a crane as needed, approximately 65 Ton RT.
Provide dumpsters to haul off 6,630' of aluminum handrail.
Provide approximately 4 toilets and wash stations for 14 months with weekly cleaning.
Provide rental equipment, 10,000 Lb. High Reach Forklift and other equipment.


CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: In accordance with the provisions of
California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the OWNER has determined that the
CONTRACTOR shall possess a valid Class "A" General Engineering Contractor
License at the time that the Bid is submitted.
CALIFORNIA WAGE RATE REQUIREMENTS: California Labor Code Section 1771
provides "Except for public works projects of one thousand dollars ($1 ,000) or less, not
less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in
the locality in which the public work is performed, and not less than the general
prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work fixed as provided in this
chapter, shall be paid to all workers employed on public works." A copy of said
prevailing wage rates is available online at www.dir.ca.qov/DLSR/PWD. It shall be
mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the WORK is awarded and upon any
subcontractor to pay not less than said specified rates to all workers employed by them
in the execution of the WORK.
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS
bidding and working on public works contracts must be registered with California's Department
of Industrial Relations. This project is subject to compliance and monitoring enforcement by the
Department of Industrial Relations.

Bidder will comply with and provide all insurance as defined in Section
00700-5.2, Insurance and Section 00800-SGC-5.2, Insurance Amounts.
Bidder has current Workers' Compensation insurance coverage as required
by the Labor Code or is legally self-insured pursuant to Labor Code section
3700 et. seq.
