Project Details

Valentine Corporation is seeking certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for quotes including, but not limited to, the following scopes of work; Construction Survey, Prepare Lead and Asbestos Compliance Plans, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control (Flagging), Temporary Striping, Furnish Barricades, Furnish Beacons and Portable Signal System, Furnish Portable Message Signs, Furnish Temporary Railing (Type K) and Crash Cushions, Storm Water Pollution Control Plan, Water Pollution Control and Reports, Clearing and Grubbing, Excavation and Backfill, Trucking, Furnish Ready Mix Concrete, Bar Reinforcing Steel, Bridge Removal (Portion), Relocate Gate, Markers and Roadside Signs, Crash Cushion, Concrete Barrier (Type 85), MBGR. Please submit quotes by noon on bid day. Valentine is available to discuss breaking out any portion of work to encourage minority participation.
DBE 25% / ENGINEERS ESTIMATE $1,185,000.00 / TIME TO COMPLETE TBD.


Bonds may be required, if so Valentine Corporation can assist. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Cal Trans requirements and will be required to sign the standard Valentine Corporation Subcontract Agreement. Plans and specifications available upon request we will email you DROPBOX link with the specs/plans or available to be viewed in our office located at 111 Pelican Way San Rafael between 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment.
