5. DIVE CONTRACTOR

Scope is the following:
Installing approximately 49 zinc anodes (150lbs each - 4" x 4" x 36") on the existing bulkhead wall.
Anodes need to be installed at minimum 3" below MLLW.
provide all materials, welding rods and anodes - no testing required at this point.
All clamps, plates, shelf angles... need to be Stainless Steel
All Steel components will be coated with splash zone epoxy compound after install
The goal is to come with a trailer-based dive spread and dive from onshore. You also need to provide a certain pulley system to lower down the anodes at the desired locations. Your dive operation needs to be completely independent from Trevcon's operation.

Detail of the anodes is shown on page 31 - DWG S-205.00 (Typical Details)
There is no dedicated spec for the cathodic protection scope. - we have requested this within the RFI's.

6. PAINTER
Scope of Work:

Spot Repairs of existing piles for pile extensions - Band of 2ft tall after splice is completed - 12” DIA pile - 6.5sf per pile - 10 piles extensions => 65 SF of spot repairs
Spot Repairs of existing Bulkhead - MLW to Pile Cap - they listed 4,850 SF but probably more like 7,500 SF

Specifications:

Trevcon will provide work platforms and access to work if necessary - I would suggest either them or us to provides a stripping buggy. Trevcon will provide floating mat containments and turbidity barrier. Sub can stage on land.
Painting spec is attached but looks like it is applicable to Prefabricated steel structures and not to the marine bulkhead - let them know they should reach out with their questions asap.

Coatings need to be done per Best Management Practices - we would suggest hydro blasting and afterwards a primer + 2x 8mil coats of fiberglass epoxy (Not CTE as this unacceptable on the rest of the project)
