RTA Construction is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Minority Business Enterprises and Women’s Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) for the Sacramento River Trail Repairs project in Redding, CA. In accordance with the Municipal Code of the City of Redding, sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, CA 96001, until 3 p.m., June 20, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the performing of the work as follows: The project includes repairs at multiple sites damaged by flood events within the Turtle Bay East Regional Park, the Parkview Riverfront Park and Trails, the Blue Gravel Mine trail, and along Churn Creek at the west end of Enterprise Community Park. The City has received funding assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to complete the project. In general, the work includes removing sediment and debris in and around culverts, placing rock slope protection, replacing trail materials or fill in areas where erosion occurred, replacing culverts, extending culverts to mitigate future damage, and removing and replacing damaged chain link fencing. The Engineer’s Estimate is $307,000.00. There are 70 working days.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from MBE/WBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project.
