LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
-The Lake Street WWTP is located at 1700 Lake Street, Elmira, New York, 14901.
-The existing Milton Street WWTP and future Regional WWTP is located at 600 Milton Street, Elmira, NY, 14904.
-The Siphon Discharge and Flow Transfer Structure is accessed from Luce Street DEC Boat Access east of Dunn Field.
The Work to be performed under this Project includes,
1. Constructing new electrical distribution system for the Regional WWTP
2. Siphon Discharge and Flow Transfer Structure
3. Constructing Lake Street Influent Facility
4. Rehabilitating Elmira Sewer District Lift Station
5. Improving Equalization Basin
6. Constructing Sewer District 1 Lift Station
7. Construction of the Primary Flow Metering Structure
8. Improvements to Primary Clarification
9. Improving the Trickling Filters
10. Improvements to the Trickling Filter Pump Station
11. Constructing Solids Contact Electrical Building
12. Constructing Solids Contact Tank
13. Constructing Moving Bed Biological Reactor (MBBR)
14. Constructing Carbon Storage and Pumping
15. Improving Secondary Clarifiers
16. Expanding and Improving UV Disinfection
17. Constructing Scum and Sludge Pump Station
18. Converting the existing Sludge Thickener to Sludge Holding Tank
19. Constructing FOG Receiving Station
20. Improving the Solids Handling Facility
