This project will address structural deficiencies within the Marin Center Exhibit Hall that may pose a risk to Life Safety and/or Building Collapse in the event of an earthquake. The project will strengthen connections between the structure's concrete masonry walls, steel and wood roof structural elements, and roofing membrane through the installation of additional wall anchors and cross-ties, and the placement of supplemental support columns in key locations. The project includes code required accessibility upgrades. Demolition will include some hazardous material abatement.
