Charlottesville Area Transit proposes DBE goal

Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) has proposed a DBE participation goal for fiscal years 2023 through 2025, in accordance with regulations requiring it to do so as a recipient of federal transit funding. The proposed DBE participation goal is 0.95 percent for the period.

Both the goal itself and the methodology used to establish the goal are available to the public for examination at the headquarters of Charlottesville Area Transit, at 1545 Avon Street Extended, Charlottesville, Virginia, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Both verbal and written comments on the proposed goal and its methodology will be accepted through December 21, 2022. Comments may be submitted to Barry Herring, DBE Liaison Officer, by email at herringb@charlottesville.gov, or by phone at (434) 970-3849.
