Kentucky Chamber of Commerce launches MWBE directory
KY News - Published Oct 27, 2022
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, through its Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, has launched its own Kentucky Minority-Owned Business Database, or MBD at www.mbdky.com, which aggregates certifications from various governmental entities across the state into a single directory.
Entities participating in the new MBD include the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for their DBE certification, the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet for their MWBE certification, and the City of Louisville for their MBE certification. The database of firms is searchable and filterable through a variety of methods, including industry, services, location, and more. The database will be updated once a month with current information from the three sources.
"With this database, the Kentucky Chamber Foundation can better help businesses grow, diversify, and create change," said Ashli Watts, president and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.
