MN News - Published Aug 16, 2021

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has proposed its disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goals for fiscal years 2022 through 2024. The proposed goals are 12.59 percent for projects assisted by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds, and 6.27 percent for projects assisted by Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds.

MnDOT expects to me 9.12 percent of the FHWA goal by race-conscious means, and 4.94 percent of the FTA goal by race-conscious means. MnDOT has not finalized or submitted these goals to the federal government yet, and is currently seeking public comment on the goals and their methodologies. Written comments will be accepted until September 9th, 2021, at 4:30 PM local time, and may be submitted to: Minnesota Department of Transportation, Office of Civil Rights, Attn: Sean Skibbie, Interim Director, 395 John Ireland Blvd, M.S. 170, St. Paul, MN 55155.
