MS News - Published Oct 29, 2020

The City of Jackson, Mississippi, has set its triennial disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) contract participation goals, as it is required to do as a recipient of federal transportation funding.

The goal has been set at 2.50 percent for fiscal years 2021 through 2023. The City also plans to set per-project DBE participation goals where applicable.

The proposed goal and the methodology and rationale used in setting that goal are available for inspection from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, in the Office of Transportation (1785 Highway 80W, Jackson, MS 39204) for 30 days following the City's publication of the notice, which took place on October 26th, 2020.

Comments on the proposed DBE participation goal will be accepted by the City of Jackson's Office of Transportation and by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) Division for 45 days following the date of publication of the notice (that being October 26th, 2020, as noted).
