IA News - Published May 13, 2020

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is currently in the process of setting its triennial disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goals for fiscal years 2021 through 2023 for Federal Highway Administration-funded projects. In light of this, the DOT will be holding two public meetings in order to gather comments and input on the goal-setting process. One meeting will be teleconference-only, with a second meeting tentatively scheduled for being held in person.

The first meeting will be held on Monday, May 18th, 2020, from 1 PM to 2 PM, and will cover goal methodology and setting processes.

The second meeting is currently scheduled to take place in-person, on Thursday, June 18th, 2020, from 1 PM to 2 PM, and will cover proposed goal discussion. The event will take place at Iowa DOT headquarters at 800 Lincoln Way in Ames, Iowa. The second event will also be held via teleconference simultaneously.
